Child Safety Standards
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation
Turf & Ardor is committed to the safety of children. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes our standards, the protections we have in place, and how to report a concern.
Zero tolerance
Turf & Ardor is an adults-only dating and social application. Any content, conduct, or account that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor is strictly prohibited. We remove violating content, permanently ban the responsible accounts, and report apparent CSAM to the relevant authorities as required by law.
Age requirement
Turf & Ardor is intended solely for adults aged 18 and older. Users must confirm their date of birth during account creation, and accounts that do not meet the minimum age requirement are not permitted. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we remove the account.
Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Turf & Ardor:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
- Any content that sexualizes a minor, or depicts, encourages, or normalizes the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt by an adult to contact, sexualize, or exploit a minor.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAE or CSAM content.
- Impersonation of a minor, or misrepresentation of age for the purpose of contacting minors.
How we prevent and respond
- Reporting tools. Every user profile and conversation includes in-app tools to block and report other users. Reports of child-safety concerns are prioritized for review.
- Review and removal. We review reports and remove violating content and accounts. Accounts involved in CSAE or CSAM are permanently banned.
- Reporting to authorities. We report apparent instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant regional or national authorities, as required by applicable law.
- Cooperation. We cooperate with law enforcement and child-safety organizations in the investigation of CSAE and CSAM.
